👓 Meet the Professor

Hi everyone! Hope you are enjoying using this blog. I’ve had a great time building and refining and rebuilding it over the last few years.

A little about me. I am a native of New York City — born in Nassau county to a WASP dad and a Polish immigrant mom. I went to art school at Pratt Institute where I studied sculpture way back in the 1980’s. In the 1990’s I studied philosophy at Loyola University of Chicago, Pennsylvania State University and the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. Eventually I got a job teaching philosophy at the Pennsylvania College of Technology. I’m still there teaching part time distance ed courses. I also teach online and face to face at Plymouth State University.

  • rationality and irrationality
  • philosophy of mind
  • ethics
  • social and political philosophy
  • Zen buddhism

other interests:
