📋 Probability: The Basics

This was fascinating to me because it explained how events cannot be predicted with one hundred percent certainty. For example, when a coin is tossed in the air, there are only two possible outcomes that can occur; heads or tails and when a dye is rolled there are six possible outcomes.
Growing up in school, probability was something that I always had a hard time understanding, just one of those things that never made sense in my head. I think that this article did a great job of explaining what exactly it is and how it works.
I agree, probability is one of those things that is hard to understand. There are some things that have a huge amount of combinations so the probability is large, then there is also like a coin with only two options.
I really liked this article because it explained that you can’t predict something being a hundred percent certain because that’s not how life works, so you have to go off the probability of something happening and more often than not it happens at least once.
