📺 Cogs in the machine

In 1982 Godfrey Reggio released an experimental film called “Koyaanisqatsi” a Hopi language word which translates as “life out of balance.” It has no plot and no dialogue, but is instead a portrait in film of American life in the late 1970’s at the height of America’s industrial and economic power. Accompanied by the equally experimental minimalist musical compositions of Philip Glass it portrays among other things the industrial world as a vast machine in which people function as components.

Those were some people scenes from the film Koyaanisqatsi. Here is the trailer, well worth watching!
