If the Stanford Prison experiment is wrong and prisons are not, by their very nature, institutions that inevitably must cause degrading behavior, how then, might prisons be reformed? This video is about a successful case of prison reform at the notoriously violent Angola prison in Angola, Louisiana. What does this story suggest about human nature and the institutions we create to deal with people who do unacceptable things?
