📺 Crash Course: Thermodynamics

What is energy, what forms can it take, and what happens when we convert it from one form to another? Answering these questions became more and more theoretically and practically necessary as nineteenth century scientists and engineers studied the ways in which mechanical, chemical, electrical and thermal energy were interrelated. Hank Green here recounts the theoretical and practical tasks of understanding energy as they unfolded in the nineteenth century.

I love how this crash course broke down how heat is created and transferred, and how heat and energy function. I also liked how it broke down what thermodynamics is because before I watched this video I had no idea what it was and who helped to create it.

I enjoyed how they talked about how they discovered how heat is created and transferred. as well as how they explained a steam engine and how it has many different cycles of energy. starting with heat. I was somewhat unaware of that and thought it was cool.

I really enjoyed how informative this video was when it came to explaining the principles of thermodynamics. I did not have much knowledge of the subject but after learning how heat is created and transferred I have a much better ubnderstanding.
