Usually I dont find things pertaing to space to be that interesting but I thought this was cool. I liked watching the landing video and it was cool to see some pictures of the surface of mars. It would be really interesting if perseverance actually finds evidence of ancient life on mars.
This truly makes me wonder how humans will adapt to being on Mars in the future. The way technology is advancing I am sure we will be there in our lifetime, as well as going back to the moon. Why haven’t we gone back to the moon?
I think we haven’t gone back largely because it is so expensive to get there and back safely. There is a good post about that here on Quora. The first answer by C Stuart Hardwick is good.
It makes me wonder the same thing! But also makes me question what else is out there on other planets that we don’t know about?
Considering that this is the first mars landing that I Have been following for some time, I think it is important to recognize how far we have come in technology.This website has plenty of options for learning about what is on mars currently especially how mars sounds! I think it is really interesting to be able to have the opportunity to listen to what another planet sounds like! One thing that I am wondering about would be if NASA has any plan to use Perseverance to find the rover that died on mars previously. Maybe there are ways for them to turn it on and regain that bot?
I have never been really interested in space missions but I found this incredibly interesting because of how much work has gone into it and with the invention of the first space hotel I have been more interested in learning more about space, it is incredible to think about how far we have come in terms of learning how space works and even with this mars mission knowing what mars looks like. I enjoyed viewing the way it looks and the sandy texture of the surface of mars.
It is so cool that something humans designed and developed is now roaming around on a different planet all together. I found the difference of sound between Earth and Mars was super fascinating, I wonder why sound on Mars is so muffled? That would be something I’d be interested to learn about.
I think it’s very interesting how the NASA posted this publicly to see. This is interesting because back in the day, this was all very much information that wasn’t public. This was due to other countries not being as advanced with space technology and publishing something like this would be enough for another countries space force to learn and maybe take some ideas. All around very article posted, I loved how it showed a diagram of the entire rover and it showed piece by piece and its use on the rover. Very detailed and interesting for sure.
the landing of this rover was very important to getting to the break through of understanding the area of mars and making sure we are able to lad there some time in the future
