Ever since I first learned about color perception and the possible differences in our perception of color, it has tripped me out. It is freaky to think that red for me is green for someone else, but because we have always seen those colors as “red” there would be no way to know if we are viewing color differently. And when people associate colors with feelings for example, sadness is blue and happiness is yellow. My blue and yellow could the opposite for someone else however there is no way to tell.

Just the idea that we all could perceive color differently is crazy to me. I kind of hope that it is proven to be true one day because that would blow my mind. I remember when I first heard that it is a possibility we all perceive color differntly I didnt beleive my teacher.

I think this is a very interesting topic. The color perception among animals is different from humans, and there are colors our brain cannot process. This is a very cool topic not just about colors, but how our brains work in general from other creatures.

This is something that I actually think about a lot. The fact that I could perceive red different than someone else is weird. We all may view things differently and we do not even know.

I found the discussion about the sky color very interesting because I always thought it was blue but now after reading this it makes me question why we thing the sky is so blue.

I really enjoyed reading this article. I find it so interesting how people perceive color differently. I could see the color green so differently than how my brother sees it.

As someone who creates art it is incredible to think about the way in which other people might be perceiving it. It is interesting to think that colors are subjective and that the way in which every person might see a specific color might be different to everyone else. Artists use certain colors to convey certain messages like how pink hues and red hues might convey love and blue tones may convey depression and sadness. But if each person sees colors in different ways then they might feel said colors in a different way too so it is very interesting to think about.

While learning about color and how we see color in middle school, I first thought about how we may all perceive color differently. I feel like it is so plausible too, there is no way to prove that we all see the same color, and there is no way to prove that we don’t. I wonder if we’ll ever be able to figure out if we truly all see the same colors.

I would have never connected the dots and thought that colors could be perceptions interpreted differently by each of us. This is really interesting to me and though I love pondering these types articles some of them get me thinking so differently that it can mess with me sometime. It’s absolutely crazy that one person can perceive a color one way and someone else will see it differently. This really makes me think beyond the colors and how our perceptions of things really can be drastically different from one another.

I enjoy the thought of everyone seeing colors differently in the world when it comes to certain objects because who really sees the correct color? I’m not sure if we’ll be able to scientifically prove who does but if we can someday than that’d be quite cool.

When I first heard about color perception the whole concept was confusing to me, and honestly, still is, but It’s so interesting to think about. I wish I could look through the eyes of another person for the day and see things from another point of view. It’s crazy how we all may be looking at the same things yet you might be seeing something much different than someone else.

I love learning about color perception and specifically color in psychology. Certain colors can actually make people feel different emotions and is used all the time in marketing. But if we all see colors differently then how is it that they’re causing the same emotions in people. I would love to know if my perception of one color is actually a different color for other people. Although I do think that we most likely see colors a little bit different, I don’t think it is as drastic as my red is someone else blue. Maybe more like my red is someone elses dark pink.
