Thanksgiving at Ako castle

This year American Thanksgiving happened to coincide with a Japanese holiday called Labor Thanksgiving Day. Since I had off from school and it was a beautiful day I took a trip to the castle to take photos in the afternoon light. There were few people there and the fall flowers and leaves were stunning in the afternoon light. Here is some of what I saw. I really love the contrast of the stonework of the castle walls and the colorful ephemeral fall flowers and foliage. Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
